王远虹,女,武汉大学病原生物学专业博士毕业 ,主任技师,中国微生物学会临床微生物学专业委员会病毒学组常务委员。
从事轮状病毒、诺如病毒、手足口病病原等的分子生物学诊断和分子流行病学研究。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、湖北省卫健委联合基金项目重点项目等。
2008年武汉市“十百千”人才;2010年武汉市有突出贡献的中青年专家;2020年享受湖北省省政府专项津贴。
2016年获湖北省科技进步三等奖,排名第一。
